  • They are rushing this film into production because they know the one slim chance of it actually being made rests on beating the Emmerich project to a release date.

    • That didn’t stop Universal and Relativity from both releasing their dueling versions of Snow White, did it?

  • Why no mention of the writers? Without them there wouldn’t be any movie to rush into production. They wrote a great script and it’s better than the script Sony has. Olympus Has Fallen will make more money and it will be in theaters first. They also have the better title and I’m glad to see they went back to the original title. Creighton and Katrin wrote a fantastic screenplay and they should always be mentioned before the producers and the director.

  • Plus, with Fuqua directing, it will have no competition. What he did with “King Arthur” was perfection.

  • I wonder if Gerard Butler is finally getting out of the rom-com movies? They totally suck. He can act, just needs a decent script and director.

  • I think the White house down will open sooner and if you follow Emmerich´s movies he did mostly huge blockbusters that made big money. So maybe Olympus has better script and could end up better with critics, it will probably not make more money. But I would say there is space for both movies.

  • I don’t think they spent that much on the production of this film from the looks of it,but it does look like it could be a great movie.I’m just assuming the cost to make it was cheaper being done here in La. where the cost of living is cheaper-hotels,restaurants,catering,transportation,and La. also offers cheaper revenues to attract moviemakers to film here.Anyway I hope it’s a huge success!!
