THE movie of the summer.
Looks like the absolute spectacle.
No clues to the story in the trailer.

Isn’t the clue Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman?
Doesn’t the whole box office of this movie pivot on what kind of word-of-mouth spreads about Anne Hathaway after the opening showings?
I think that’s the story, and it feels more exciting to me than TDKR itself.
After all this publicity…there’s STILL no solid clues as to the core plot…Nolan’s a genius. THIS is how you do it Hollywood….Can. Not. Wait!!!
Two things are absolutely certain: The Avengers will prove to be the better film and will end up making more money. No Joker, no impact.
Better film? Don’t think so.
More money? We’ll see about that. I guarantee you at least a good scare Mr. Avengers.
While the Avengers has more “kid appeal” and may fair better at the box office, the Dark Knight Rises will be the pop-culture event of the year.
Your 3D glasses must have fogged up in the theater because there is no way The Avengers is better than any movie being released this summer, let alone TDKR.
I couldn’t give a shit about who makes more money.
Strong spot. Some good humor too, better than the lamborghini joke at the end of the Dark Knight trailer.
I am way too excited, it’s only May.
Look I loved the Avengers like nobody’s business and it’ll probably take out TDK and maybe Titanic in domestic grosses, but this just looks and most importantly FEELS like the event of the year. The level of anticipation is off the charts. We could be heading into serious uncharted waters here as far as grosses are concerned. The more they play these friggin commercials the more hyped I get. I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I mean… even if Avengers does end up the higher grosser, I still think TDKR has a good chance of being better. Nolan has proven himself to be a much better writer then Whefon and his collaborations generally turn out great. I doubt we will see many of the storytelling cliches that held the Avengers script back so much. And if Nolan actually pulls this one off he will have crafted one of the finest trilogies to have ever come out of American cinema. That is exciting to me.
