Hot Trailer: IMAX ‘To The Arctic’
Veteran IMAX filmmaker Greg MacGillivray has taken audiences to amazing places we might otherwise never have seen. This time it’s To The Arctic, a crystal-clear, giant-screen journey into the lives of a mother polar bear and her pair of seven-month-old cubs in the changing Arctic wilderness. Narrated by Meryl Streep, it opens Friday, April 20 in IMAX theaters only.
Interesting what Meryl said; as formats get smaller and smaller it is amazing to see something like this on such a grand scale (or something to that effect). I think 3d is here to stay but my guts tell me the future of movie going is with IMAX. My best movie experiences lately have been a combination of both.
