  • I recently re-watched MY COUSIN VINNY. It reminded be that Macchio is likeable, believable–a very solid actor. I especially liked what he did with the speech in the jail cell where he tries to convince his buddy why they should let JOE PESCI’s character continue as their lawyer after he initially appears to be incompetent as a litigator.

I hope this creates a resurgence in his film career. He deserves to work more.

  • Re-cast Jessica Biehl. Just don’t cast Jessica Alba or Kristen Stewart

  • I am really pleased he’s getting more work. Getting out of the Karate Kid’s shadow was easier even for Pat Morita than poor Macchio. Best of luck!

  • Mr. Macchio, you are a great actor, and it’s good to see you coming around-you’re in the place that you deserve to be-on the way to the top!
