Jennifer Finnigan Joins David E. Kelley TNT Pilot, Kate Mara In Netflix ‘House Of Cards’

EXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Finnigan is the first cast member set in David E. Kelley’s TNT medical drama pilot Chelsea General. • I don’t think I can bear hearing Kate Mara call Kevin Spacey “Daddy,” though I hope they don’t chicken out on that. Kevin Spacey’s amazing, but will he make us forget Ian Richardson? I think not.

    • “You might very well think that; I couldn’t possibly comment.”

      Spacey’s facing a huge monolith.

  • Kate Mara’s casting. Coincidence or Nepotism? Hmm….

    • I don’t know why it’s necessarily either. Fincher and Kate Mara have probably met on numerous occasions due to Rooney and maybe he thought, based on meeting her, that she would be a good fit for the part.

  • Ian was incandescent. And his wife had such gravitas. Who’s gonna be Benjamin Landless?

They had better cast some sexy Black women as aides in this political world. I will protest if they don’t. It is essential. Spacey, I am talking to you! Do not disappoint me. Don’t make this lame like the American version of Prime Suspect.

  • Waiddaminute. Didn’t Finnigan recently shoot a USA pilot called WILD CARD? Has that officially been passed on? Or is she going to try to juggle two 13-ep shows at once? (Which would be fine by me, but I’m just asking…)
